You would only apply for a new passport if you fit under one of these criteria :

-You’re applying for a passport for the first time and you are 16 years of age or older.
-Your prior passport was issued more than 15 years ago.
-Your prior passport was issued when you were 15 years of age or younger.
-Your current passport is not in your possession or you have lost your passport
-Your current and valid passport is damaged.

APPLY FOR NEW PASSPORT

If your passport is Damaged, Mutilated or Poor Condition you must for a NEW PASSPORT.

 Your passport is considered damaged if it:

-Your passport frayed or torn pages in your passport
-Your passport pages are separating from the cover 
-Your passport is altered in any way 
-Your passport is unreadable by digital scanner.

APPLY FOR NEW PASSPORT

You would only apply for a passport renewal if you fit under one of these criteria:

– Your passport is expiring soon, or passport has expired in the last 5 years.
– Your passport is running low on blank pages.
-You were issued more than one year ago and legally changed your name.

APPLY FOR PASSPORT RENEWAL

You would only apply for a child passport if your child fits under one of these criteria:

– Your child is 15 years and under and is applying for the first time

– Your child is 15 years and under and passport is expired.

APPLY FOR NEW PASSPORT

You would only apply for a passport name change if you fit under one of these criteria

-Your passport is less than 1 year old and You are able to submit the original/official document(s)

indicating a legal name change ( marriage, Divorce, etc….)

APPLY FOR PASSPORT NAME CHANGE

You would only apply for a passport name change if you fit under one of these criteria:

-Frequent travel necessitates having a second passport to obtain visas while traveling.
