For Tourists:
- You must have either a hotel reservation or a notarized invitation letter from an Algerian host or an invitation letter from a travel agency.
- If you are receiving an invitation letter from an Algerian host, it must be notarized at the City Hall in Algeria.
- Alternatively, if the invitation is from an Algerian living in the United States, it can be notarized at a notary public office. In addition, the Algerian host is required to provide a copy of their Algerian ID, passport, or consular card.
- A computer-generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency, or a copy of the airline ticket showing entry and departure from Algeria. This can include a copy of a round-trip flight ticket.
- Evidence of financial resources or proof of income, such as the most recent pay stub or bank statement.
- Proof of address within the Consular jurisdiction. This can be a valid driver’s license, utility bill, bank or credit card statement, insurance policy, or bill.
