Please make sure that your name is spelled exactly the same as the name appearing on the relevant ID or document. No variations are permitted.

An original signature of the applicant on the signature line on the application form. Please make sure that your signature is on the line.

Important: 

– Select New York as the processing center on the application form, before sending your documents to our office .

– Be sure to print the payment and confirmation receipts and include with your application. 

-If payment  by mailing a money order, the confirmation of payment must be included with your application. The processing cannot start without proof of direct payment. 

– The Consulate of Nigeria charges a separate processing fee online.
